Facebook said on Monday, it planned to connect Singapore, Indonesia and North America in a project with Google and regional telecommunication companies with two undersea Internet cables which will increase the Internet capacity. Named Echo and Bifrost, those will be the first two cables to go through a new diverse route crossing the Java Sea and they will increase overall subsea capacity in the trans-pacific by about 70%," Facebook Vice President of Network Investments, Kevin Salvadori, told Reuters. He declined to specify the size of the investment, but said it was "a very material investment for us in Southeast Asia According to the executive, the cables directly connect the North America and some of the main parts of Indonesia and will boast the connectivity between. Salvadori said, "Echo" is being built in partnership with Alphabet Google and Indonesia telecommunication companies XL Axiata and should be completed 2023. "Bifrost"

Apple issues advisory on keeping iPhone 12, MagSafe accessories away from medical devices

 

 Apple has issued an advisory for user to create a safe distant from medical equipment because these new IPhone 12 and it's Magsafe accessories could cause interference.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Apple said that "these magnets and electromagnetic fields" these new gadgets "would possibly intervene with medical gadgets."


   Apple users should keep in mind about that even older IPhone has magnets but newer IPhone 12 series come with array of magnets at the back, which is important to support the wireless MagSafe charger and accessories but the newer sequence Is not gonna be a risk of magnetic interference to medical devices than prior IPhone models.

         Apple Advisory says, medical devices such as implanted peacemaker and Defibrillators may possibly contain sensors that respond to magnet and radios when contact is less, and it's is recommending some distance between the new IPhone, Magsafe accessories and these devices.
  
   The IPhone maker says keep a distance of 6 inches/ 15 cm or more than 12 inches/ 30 cm aside if wirelessly charging could be greatest to keep a distance from any potential with these gadgets.
  
     Also it commends that users can consult with their doctor  and device manufacturers for specific guidelines since these can differ. The advisory ends saying, “Manufacturers often provide recommendations on the safe use of their devices around wireless or magnetic products to prevent possible interference. If you suspect iPhone or any MagSafe accessories are interfering with your medical device, stop using your iPhone or MagSafe accessories.”
