Facebook New Plan to Boast connectivity....

Facebook said on Monday, it planned to connect Singapore, Indonesia and North America in a project with Google and regional telecommunication companies with two undersea Internet cables which will increase the Internet capacity. Named Echo and Bifrost, those will be the first two cables to go through a new diverse route crossing the Java Sea and they will increase overall subsea capacity in the trans-pacific by about 70%," Facebook Vice President of Network Investments, Kevin Salvadori, told Reuters. He declined to specify the size of the investment, but said it was "a very material investment for us in Southeast Asia According to the executive, the cables directly connect the North America and some of the main parts of Indonesia and will boast the connectivity between. Salvadori said, "Echo" is being built in partnership with Alphabet Google and Indonesia telecommunication companies XL Axiata and should be completed 2023. "Bifrost"

UPI updates of varoius Payment methods : NCPI Data

   

        Whatsapp previous year added a new feature which is Whatsapp UPI payments. In month of January 2021 Whatsapp UPI received a negative growth in terms of transaction, according to UPI ( Unified Payments Interface) data released by NPCI ( National Payment Cooperation of India). Maybe this negative growth is a result of Whatsapp new privacy policy which results users to doubt.

     According to the report, Whatsapp UPI transaction declined nearly 31 per cent to 560,000 in January from 810,000 in December. Decline in the volume of transaction but Facebook owned app, receive a 22 per cent increase in payment value from Rs. 29.72 crores to Rs. 36.44 crores in January. 
 

    PhonePe is leading in UPI transaction holding market share up to 41.21 per cent , in January 968.72 million transaction that worth Rs. 191973.77 crores. PhonePe increases up to 7.39 per cent in transaction volume and in December noted 902.03 million transaction which increase 5 per cent in two month.

    After PhonePe, Google Pay is on lead , holding 36.31 per cent of market share. In month of January 853.53 million transactions that worth Rs. 177,791.47 crore. Google Pay show a 0.1 per cent decline in the transaction volume in month of December 854.59 million transaction. 

      Paytm Payment Bank is on third place holding 14.15 per cent of market share. In month of January 281.18 million that worth Rs. 33,909.50 crores. Paytm saw 9.6 per cent increase in transaction volume and compared to December data 8.36 per cent. Followed by Amazon Pay holding 1.97 per cent and transaction 46.30 million transaction thats worth Rs.4044.38 crores in recent data.

     NPCI's BHIM app, holding a 0.99 per cent of market share. In month of January 23.38 million transaction thats worth Rs. 7462.94 crores, BHIM app show 5.72 per cent dip in value and compared to December 3.68 per cent.

     Overall, UPI transactions in the country grew 3.06 per cent 2,302.73 million in January. These transactions were worth Rs. 4,31,181.89 crores in total, up from the Rs. 4,16,176.21 crores in December, as per the NPCI data
